Excellent service here from reception onwards. Have been coming for years and have recommended to countless people. Paul cuts my hair and Richard colours it. Both listen intently to what i want, always make me feel my very best and are like friends. Very genuine, good coffee and great massaging seats at back wash. Highly highly recommended!!

A fantastic salon with friendly helpful staff for who nothing is too much trouble. I have my hair coloured by Richard who always goes the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my colour. Richard spent over 2 hours putting an obscene amount of foils in my hair to ensure it was perfect for my wedding day and always makes my visits a fun experience! Upmarket city centre salons are often presumed to be pretentious, however this is far from the case at Essensuals. Every member of staff there make you feel welcomed and give excellent customer service. Highly recommended, Steph is also fantastic as a stylist. 10/10!

i had my hair cut with Paul Simpson the salon owner and Creative Director, simply amazing cut ! had a really good consultation, as my hair is really curly and i have trouble doing it myself, Paul gave me really good advice on how i can do it at home ! i also got the fab Sea salt Spray the Label M range !

i went here after following the salon on Twitter ( @EssensualsManc ) they had an online promo with 20% off, when you sign up to follow them, i had my hair cut by CHARLOTTE POVALL she is a stylist level at £38 for cut, blowdry, finish ( with then the discount taken off ) she was so good, gave excellent consultation before the cut, and the blowdry was amazing, so big bouncy etc ! and she recommended some really good products from their Label M range ! 9/10 for service !

great salon, i went there for hair extensions, they use 'RACOON INTERNATIONAL' and they are bonded into the hair, the hair is human hair and excellent colour condition etc, they have excellent price packages, and it was a lot cheaper than i thought it was going to be ! STEPHANIE DARBYSHIRE was my stylist and i highly recommend her, she fitted them much quicker than i thought, and she cut and styled them at the end, and give me brilliant aftercare advise ! 10 /10 service from Stephanie and Essensuals Manchester.

I sometimes feel that the trendier salons can be a little scarey to visit especially if you're over a certain age - everyone at Essensuals seemed genuinely friendly but not in a false way. I was persuaded to have a slightly different style from usual and to go a few shades lighter (apparently you should go lighter as you get older) ... well I was thrilled with the outcome and the price so Im going back every 6 weeks !
