Write A ReviewI was at Gleneagles the begining of the year for ESPA training we had a wee nosey at the spa and I knew I wanted to go at some point for a spa day..... only a few weeks later I managed to get a great deal so me and a friend from work went along. Our treatments includes a foot ritual and an ESPA back, face and scalp treatment. Lovely drive up just harder driving home soo relaxed lol I love the wey ESPA has designed the spa at gleneagles and as soon as you walk thro the door you can tell its an ESPA spa. The changing area is great. and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa heat experiences as well as visiting the leisure pool and outdoor pool was fantastic especially as there as snow on the ground. the treatment was very good and the treatment rooms are lovely too. Lunch at Deseo was lovely but had trouble desivering the menu lol not used to fine dinning!! The whole day was a great experience, we were there from first thing and we left just before we'd got kicked out ( as was prob nearly closing time)..... I will defo go back :)

Firstly, L'Andana as a destination is absolutely fabulous. Managed by Alain Ducasse's organization it is a culinary mecca worth travelling to Tuscany for. It is the former Duke of Tuscany's country residence, who unfortunately is no longer with us. Outstanding food, Micheline 1 star rated, friendly, efficient and charming staff. Beautiful rooms and yes, a fantastic spa and fitness room to work off all that great Tuscan food.
Small with 4 treatment rooms (the hotel has only 30 rooms), indoor and outdoor pool, other water features including sauna, steam, manicure, pedicure treatment room and more. Beautifully designed: quite contemporary, elegant, warm and inviting. Both my wife and I had treatments. I asked for a Swedish, deep tissue massage and promptly got Christina a therapist from Sweden who at first was reluctant to go really deep ( we'd just got off the plane and car drive), but once she heard what I wanted and that I was not a wimp, she was " spot on". Professional, friendly, concerned and well trained. The management of the spa is ESPA who are clearly doing a good job, with a multitude of treatments to select from, not just the " old Swedish " standby. I am off to test some more treatments before we leave. Reserve well beforehand since the demand is high.
