Emma Victoria

I found Emma Victoria an all round lovely experience, from the moment I walked in and was warmly greated to the moment I left. The therapyst seemed to be genuinly interested in me and also not to intrusive with chat when it wasnt called for. I would thoroughly recommend this salon and will definately be going back.

Had a treatment for the first time at Emma Victoria,very professional helpfull staff.

My treatments were excellent and good value this is more than the usual salon I shall be going back.

My mother and I went to Emma Victoria on Saturday 1st August 2009, where we each had an appointment for a full set of acrylic nails. We were due into the Salon at 11am but due to an accident at the Farnham traffic lights we were 10 minutes late for the appointment. Out of courtesy we called the salon directly to check that it would still be ok to come in. We were told that it would be absolutely fine. When i booked the appointment atleast a week before Emma herself told me that the new 'experienced' nail tecnician was exceptional and would do a great job.

During my appointment the nail technician did not fill me with confidence. She was a very messy worker and did not demonstrate the experience I was told of. I left that afternoon with my hands covered in acrylic which I had to spend some time picking off. I had french tips done, however most of my nail was actually white.

I return to the salon on Sunday 2nd August as I was not happy with the work that had been done. Emma herself admitted that they did not look great. The white tips had been placed too far up my nail, and I do not believe that this was due to a ‘short nails’ as was told to me. She explained that the nail technician did my nails to the best of her ability with the time given as we were late. I would ask then that when we called to inform them that we would be late, why we were told that there would be no problem? If I had known there would not be enough time for her to complete the service, for which I was paying a lot of money, I would not have gone ahead with the appointment.

My mothers nails were just as bad, her nails were painted (and most of her fingers were too!) The nail technician never changed her equipment and whilst using a cocktail stick to remove varnish on my mothers nails this was them put on to mine by using the same stick.

After two weeks I was very disappointed with the result. My nails looked appalling. They all started to peel and lift. Two days after that my nails looked shocking, I removed them and had them done somewhere else in Farnham who did a proper job.

I took lots of photos and contacted trading standards, they suggested I wrote to Emma and request a refund. After two weeks I finally got a responce stating that it was my fault my nails were so bad because I was late. Never did receive a refund or an apology.

I do not doubt the nail technician carried out the work to the best of her ability, but having paid £45 for a full set of nails only to have them peel away and come off after only a week is unacceptable.

Also you might be interested to know my mother and I ended up in the salon for 4 and a half hours just do do 2 sets of acrylic nails!

This salon gave off the impression of being sloppy, rude, inexperienced and a complete waist of money and time.

I have never experienced such atrocious service before in a salon in my life, I am a regular but now due to the last service I experienced with this salon I will never go back and do not recommend anyone to go. I was treated so badly, told I was rude because I did not agree to paying a cancellation fee but it was due to unforeseen circumstances and thought they would be a little more understanding. People do not have money to throw around these days and needed this treatment to get away from my hectic life for an hour, however as soon as I found out I wouldnt be able to make it, I phoned them straight way, I was not told of any cancellation fees in advance that I would have to pay and expected a little more empathy from the rude lady that spoke to me. I argued that I will not pay anything such as this and did not sign anything saying I agree. What a bad service! I agree some people book appointments and do take advantage and do not show up but I thought me being a long serving customer to this place and never having cancelled any appointments that they would be a little more understanding but they are nothing more then money grabbing desperate people who need to learn good customer service. Never again!

A very professional and friendly place. I totally enjoyed my experience there and found it very relaxing indeed! i can't wait to go back there !

I visited Emma Victoria in the months leading up to my wedding. I was quite stressed as I had 5 months to arrange everything as my husband was working in America.
Oh boy how I needed those few hours of peace quiet and the electrodes on my face to lift my sagging muscles and erase my deepening frown lines!!
All of the staff were friendly and competent in what they do. My favorite, well maybe you shouldn't have one as they are all so lovely, but, it was Sarah. I loved the tales she told me whilst having the non-surgical face lift!! A bit hard to laugh when your face is all over the place!!
I now live in America and can't wait to come home on a visit in September to spend a bit of time at the Spa. I just can't find anywhere here that offers the same customer service.

I love this spa - i have been going on a regular basis for the last few years and am always impressed with the staff and service. Beatifully decorated with a lovely ambience and relaxing feel i have not had the pleasure of using the day spa facility yet but can't wait!
