As a birthday treat to myself I shopped around carefully for a spa day. At Virgin Active Canary Wharf I chose the mini spa package which more than exceeded my expectations. After reading several reviews of other spa packages that are held in places that are also busy gyms, I was a bit concerned that I may not get quite the pampering and chilled out experience I wanted. However I was very pleased and delighted with my whole experience. The spa was in a seperate area of the whole complex, providing peace and space from the noise and other business of the gym. My package included 3 treatments all performed by Natalie who was a friendly, helpful and amazing therapist. My skin consultation test thing got me a bit baffled, I wasn't really sure if the results from the computer readings were realistic or not, but I went along with it anyway. Both my facial and massage treatments were the best I have ever received. They were so relaxing and thorough. And on top of my treatments I also had full use of the gym and spa facilites and was given free use of a robe and towel also. The gym, pool, spa and changing areas were also very impressive and luxuriously spead out. In fact the jacuzzi I could even swim around in!! Any other jacuzzi I have been into, even in top hotels, normally are only small and able to squeeze 3 or 4 people in. There were two saunsa; one inside the female changing area, and another mixed one by the pool along with steam room. The pool also was a generous size and looked right out over the Thames. The view and location was stunning. Overall, it was a very pleasurable experience and I'd reccommend it to anyone. I'll surely be back someday.

I had a haircut at lunch time on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Stylist was friendly and offered good advice. Ambience could be improved as it felt a bit untidy. With the Wahanda voucher I thought it was very good value.

I bought the Englighten package which was a body scrub/wrap and mini facial. Upon my arrival at the spa I was greeted with a warm welcome and shown into my room, which was absolutely heavenly as the relaxation music soothed me I was treated with various warm body scrubs and wonderfully warm green tea mud wrap which was unbelievably heavenly! I was suppose to have a mini facial but to be honest it felt like a full on facial never did my face felt so treated and cared for. When the facial was nearly complete Keisha my therapist placed some very delicate eye pads on me and I was laying in my body wrap and nearly fell asleep I was that relaxed!

The only drawback? That it had to end!!! What a wonderful birthday treat and well worth. I'll definately be doing this again or potentially the wrapsody which Keisha suggested as she gave me a prescription too which was very helpful. Thank you so much!!! :-)

It was a great experience to come to the Dove Spa in CANARY WHARLF for an hair cut and blow dry. Jessica was very friendly and professional and she made me an absolute beautiful blow dry which I absolutely loved. Very good value for money which is very good especially when you are in maternity leave.

They only have one stylist (Amy) who does haircut and she only works Tuesdays and every other Thursdays and Saturdays. But she is very professional and offered some very good advice. With the Wahanda offer I thought it was very good value and I am happy with the visit.

I was booked to have an Enlighten Me package which included: Full Body Exfoliation, Full Body Wrap and Mini Facial; instead of the mini facial I had a foot massage when I was in the body wrap.
I found that the therapist was personable and very professional. She consulted with me about everything, and decided on the wrap and oils according to what I wanted. Whilst having the treatment the therapist gave me plenty of time to shower (removing the scrub and wrap product). Overall I was very happy with the therapist I felt like a customer, I definetly felt valued; and I found I could feel an improvement in my skin. My skin immediately felt smoothed and moisturised. And I felt this was an excellent treatment to relax and feel pampered. I would be happy to pay full price at this location for this treatment.

I got stuck in traffic and arrived late, but they were very accommodating. Not very easy to find - should be advertised that it is in the Virgin Gym. Hairdresser was friendly and nice and cut my hair really well. I didnt have my wahanda voucher to hand, but the therapist was fine with me going home and emailing the voucher through. She and the manager were very understanding. The salon was small and underground, and I imagine it would have been a bit overwhelming if it had been full of people. Overall, good experience.

I got the Enlighten Body Detox Package and a 1 hour Aromatherapy Massage - both were amazing. The therapist was really attentive and always asked if I was ok with the temperature, the scent of the massage oil, etc. It was a great day - looking forward to going back!

I have made a number of trips to Dove Spa at Canary Wharf, I have always enjoyed my treatments and I have always liked the decor. I am now a Dove Spa Beauty Pass member and I havea membership at this gym. I personally think to have a beauty wrap and massage the decor and comfort of the spa are important o really relax and enjoy the treatment. I felt the exfoliation/ body
wrap/ and facial were well administered, and I found the therapist professional. I think I would need more than one enlighten me treatment to say how happy I am with the results. But as a pick me up I really enjoyed the treatment. The therapist was professional yet friendly, and the combination of the
exfoliation/ body wrap/ and facial was a real feel good treat.
