I booked in for a half hour massage. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable, however I was a little disappointed with the massage. The therapist left the room for me to get changed, saying she would discuss my massage needs on her return..which she didn't. The massage itself was average at best. I always think you can tell a good therapist in the first five minutes of a massage, and this girl was not great. She didn't seem to focus in on any part of my back or neck, preferring to just use alot of up & down sweeping strokes. Left feeling a bit disappointed. Also was a little irritated that she massaged my scalp with oily hands without asking first.. I had an appointment later that afternoon and had to go home and wash my hair!!..overall very average, and the service when I was leaving at the desk left a lot to be desired as I was flatly ignored for about 5 minutes while 2 receptionists were on the phone.. without even acknowledging me, not very professional.

i have now been twice to Dove spa in Bromley and have been totally pleased with treatments. Booking again in 2 weeks time

I bought an "Enlighten Body Detox package" as a birthday gift for a friend and met her immediately afterwards. She reported the experience would have been nice if she hadn't been freezing cold the whole time. She asked the therapist if if was unusually cold to which she was told no, but on her way out past another treatment room she said lovely warm air was wafting out.
She told me about her experiencet so I didn't buy her another one !!

I enjoyed my experience. First as it is part of virgin health, there is a free car park which is very handy. The ambience is friendly and relaxed. the hair salon is well equipped and bright. The staff are attentive and I was straight away offered refreshement. I was very pleased with my cut and blowdry. I had a wahanda voucher but looking at their price list, it may be a little on the expensive side!

I was able to book easily and got an appointment at a time that suited me two days later. The facilities were good and I was offered a complimentary drink if I came a bit early as it was my first time at the salon. The facilities were good and they had a good product range. The cut was brilliant and the stylist really understood what I wanted. She gave advice on how future cuts could help develop the look I wanted too. However, I did feel pressurised to buy the Kerastase products they were using. At every opportunity, I was told how the shampoos, conditioners, serums, heat protection etc etc would do wonders for my hair. Even products I already had, it was suggested that I buy gift sets etc. Couldn't help but feel there was commission to be had on product sales! Had it not been for this, I would have given 5 stars.

I was looking for somewhere to spend my Wahanda voucher. I've walked passed Dove Spa, Bromley many times as I'm a member of the Virgin Active gym with which it shares a building. I've never been in as it advertises itself for women. However, I booked myself in for a sports massage, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My back felt a little stiff after training in the gym. I dropped in to the spa and asked if they had anyone available to give me a massage, which they did. The therapist was very professional and gave me an excellent massage, which relaxed my stiff muscles and left me feeling much better.

The therapist I had was brilliant. She made the whole experience very relaxing. The package was the enlighten body detox and it was great value for money. I will definitely go again.

When we arrived at the spa they didn't even know what was included in the "mini spa day" even though I had already called in advance and booked the treatments. The day also included access to the facilities including swimming pool, jacuzzi , steam room etc, however they didn't realise and tried to charge us before consulting their folder to find out we were right and it was actually included! When I booked the treatments I gave them the vouchers codes and they did not ask for the vouchers to be handed in when we arrived. After we had left they called a member of the group to say we had to return all the vouchers that night and we were not able to post them and if they were not returned they would harrass us until they were handed in! When we returned them and spoke to the manager apparantly we were also meant to be told about money off towards products on the day of our visit.

The vouchers arrived from Wahanda quickly and the experience would have been very nice if it wasn't for the staff at the spa. I would recommend Wahanda but not Dove Spa in Bromley.

I purchased 3 x Enlighten Body Detox package which includes a Full Body exfoliation, Full Body Wrap and a mini Facial for £35. Unfortunately, when we got to Dove Spa - Bromley, they weren't sure what was included in the 'Enlighten Body Detox' package and they thought that it may had been an old promotional offer so they couldn't offer us the full treatments. Instead, we received a back scrub, back massage, a facial and one of the following: head, foot or hand massage. Although the treatments were ok, it would have been more satisfying if we had received the correct treatments as described in the package when I purchased it. I am very disappointed on this occasion but in the future, I would book directly with Dove Spa to make sure that I get the exact treatment I pay for. Dove Spa offers a Full body exfoliation and a Facial using Elemis products for around the same price.
