Had a lovely time. Our booking had been cancelled through some mistake but they put everything right and upgraded us. The pool and facilities were really excellent. I did feel a little disappointed when I realised the treatments were self administered but in the end they decided for medical reasons we should have different treatments. So it all worked out fine. Restaurant was good and food great , What more can I say.

I went to Donnington Valley Park last year with my friend for a spa day and our experience wasn’t that pleasant. Especially the lunch menu was a disaster….. They give us a sandwich that has been purchased from a super market and followed by a packet of crisp. When I asked for an orange juice they give me a fizzy drink that taste was more like a washing up water so I would say big NO NO NO to them. You can get more for your money elsewhere so please check before when you book it. I would not go again and waste my day in there.

My friend and I had a great day, we had lunch by the pool and enjoyed the steam room which left our skin feeling super clean - there's also a sauna and an aromatherapy room which were very good but our fav by far was the steam room.
Lunch by the pool was great as we could hear the relaxing sound of moving water whilst we had a nice chat.
After our treatments we stayed in the "relaxing room" - this is a super comfy room to which you can only access after having had a treatment, this is the only downside of the venue as I would have loved to be able to spend some more time there.
Lunch was very nice, robes, towels and sleepers are provided so all you need to bring is your swim costume and a desire to relax.....

Lovely stay - beautiful room which appeared freshly decorated, entire hotel very clean and relaxing. Pool lovely and steam rooms a generous size,
Only haven't rated as 5 star as, in my opinion, restaurant was slightly over priced and very over staffed! Would happily visit again but would eat in the bar as it was a much nicer atomsphere and the bar food was still proper meals but more reasonably priced,
Overall would happily recommend or return

Nice room. Swimming pool etc are good. However Steam Room was broken.
Food in restaurant was good but pricey.
Mix up with package and bill (overcharged at first) which spoilt the atmosphere and the food.

Excellent beauty therapist Tanya. Very knowledgeable, friendly, super efficient. The location is lovely. It's a beautiful hotel spa location which is very clean, welcoming, polished and professional. I shall definitely return. Highly recommended.

Can't recommend Donnington Valley Spa highly enough. Me and my best friend went for the 2 for 1 overnight stay and we felt thoroughly pampered.
The reception staff were superb and to learn we had been upgraded to an executive room (complete with robes and slippers) was a wonderful surprise.
The pedicure treatment was fabulous and the massage chairs that were included were an added bonus. The therapists were friendly and made sure we got the most out of our experience. The spa itself was gorgeous, me and my friend enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.
Be sure to reserve a space for dinner in the Wine Press - the steak and hand cooked chips were delicious and the wines reasonably priced. Also couldn't fault the variety available at breakfast.
All in all would recommend for a girlie treat, whether you opt for a smoothie or Sauvignon Blanc you're sure to enjoy Donnington Valley spa.

A day at Donnington is well worth it. If you are after a relaxing day, this is the place to go. It is not an all singing all dancing spa with no fancy heat and ice experiences etc, but it does have a nice pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The beds around the pool are plentiful as are the magazines.
The treatments are really good as is the relaxtion room that you can go into after your treatment.
We had slippers, gowns and lunch included in the price which was great.
Its nice to be able to eat around the pool or outside if you wish rather than in the lobby.
The chocolate cake is lovely!

the reception staff need to be a little more aware when there are people waiting to book in for their spa days. We arrived on a day when a therapist was off sick so treaments needed to be rearanged but Rich looked after us really well. we did expect lunch to arrive at the time we had specified but we actually ended up having to ask for it. overall an excellent day- thank you
