A day at Donnington is well worth it. If you are after a relaxing day, this is the place to go. It is not an all singing all dancing spa with no fancy heat and ice experiences etc, but it does have a nice pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The beds around the pool are plentiful as are the magazines.

The treatments are really good as is the relaxtion room that you can go into after your treatment.

We had slippers, gowns and lunch included in the price which was great.

Its nice to be able to eat around the pool or outside if you wish rather than in the lobby.

The chocolate cake is lovely!

the reception staff need to be a little more aware when there are people waiting to book in for their spa days. We arrived on a day when a therapist was off sick so treaments needed to be rearanged but Rich looked after us really well. we did expect lunch to arrive at the time we had specified but we actually ended up having to ask for it. overall an excellent day- thank you

I booked a 2 for 1 overnight stay at the Donnington Spa and I have to say it was amazing!!! I can't believe the price I paid and got everything I got.
The venue is lovely and the rooms are very clean and cosy and immaculate.
The spa is wonderful and the steam sauna pool and aromatherapy rooms are just as great AMAZING.

We had dinner which was a 3 course and I have to say compliments to the chef the food was outstanding I felt like i was in the wrong place as I couldn't believe I had only paid £69 pp.

I am going back in March for my 2 year wedding anniversary, I recommend Donnington Spa Resort to everyone you will not be disappointed!! 5/5 stars for my stay AMAZING!! And very IMPRESSED!!!

Got this as a gift for a couple, as an after wedding treat. She has just called saying they had a great time, and enjoyed every minute.

The spa was clean, had a lovely calm atmosphere and all facilities were lovely.

Would recommend this as a gift for others, (just hoping someone buys me one back now!!)

Fantastic stay, staff were excellent especially one lady on reception. I could not fault anything with our stay. The hotel was clean and rooms lovely. Its was also close to Newbury which was a lovely place to see.

My friend and I had a relaxing time. The ambience is relaxed, decoration to a high standard. We thought the dinner menu was a little limited and the inclusive 'treatment' a little misleading as it was a 25 minute use of a machine for 'relexology' or 'massage' in a chair. We booked additional treatments which were good. I would go again if the deal was available.

My daughter and I spent the sunday night and the monday at the Donnington Valley Hotel. We found the staff very attentive and the facilities of the spa excellent. We were also very impressed with the choice of the breakfast buffet. I cannot fault anything with this offer and am looking forward to another special offer for this venue.
