We arrived for our booking and were taken for our choice of treatment (facials). The staff were
lovely as was the treatment but this only consisted of 40minutes of the whole package. The spa part was a total nightmare....
We went to the changing room to continue our visit. We arrived at the pool and were surprised to find a 'waterbabies class' in progress. We did not expect this when booking a spa package.
We tried to get some water from the font but it was not working. I knocked on the office door next to
the pool and asked where we could get water, only to be told that the font was not working and that
we would have to go back to the changing rooms.
I would have thought it may have been an idea to have alternative water supplies available until the
font was repaired, there was no notice posted to apologise for any inconvenience.
We then went back to the changing rooms to get a drink.
We then returned to the pool area to find yet more mothers and babies. We decided to try the steam room in the hope that the class would end soon. Unfortunately, there was an appalling drain smell in the steam room, another fault, so we had to leave.
At this point, we returned to the staff and asked how long the baby classes were to continue. We were told it lasted till 3pm. We had arrived at 1pm and had a 35 minutes treatment and were now faced with the possibility of listening to children's songs or suffering sub standard pool facilities.
We had no option but to leave.
Totally feel cheated as I could have easily had a facial at my regular salon and enjoyed better facilities. I did contact them to offer my complaint and was asked to writin, I did, on the 2nd May but have heard nothing... Don't Buy !

Our spa day with back massage was only £18 I was not expecting 5 star spa but with it being in Marriott Hotel i thought would be ok but we were disappointed with the spa facilities. There is no jacuzzi and the steam roon was not working the day we went. The sauna was constantly full. The boiler was broken the day we went so place was freezing. We had to get dressed after only using spa for 10 mins and wait in bar for treatments to begin. I had purchased additional treatments and treatments were lovely, i really enjoyed them. I did write a letter to hotel spa to complain and they have sent me 2 passes to attend spa again, which i will use and give another chance. would highly recommend the treaments at Distinction Beauty in the hotel and I do usually get a lot facials and massages.

We had a very relaxing swim, steam room and sauna before going for our treatments. The staff could'nt be more helpful. I would recommend without a second thought. Great start to a great day

Gorgeous facilities and lovely very attentive staff, a definite location to get away from the busy hussle of Glasgow! I would recommend them to anyone!
