The hotel is situated in a secluded spot 69km away from the airport in Salzburg and is a fabulous location to regain your strength and refuel your energy levels. In the experienced hands of Der Krallerhof’s highly trained therapists, you can leave all your worries behind. From Ayurvedic or Shiatsu massages, anti–ageing treatments or health assessments, even personal training for fitness or weight loss everything is on offer at the hotel’s modern spa facilities.

Certainly no shortage of summer outdoor activities here with choices ranging from swimming, cycling, walking, tennis, or squash and for children there’s a playground with waterslide and even a petting zoo to interact with animals. Kids also have their own activity club and will be well looked after by friendly English-speaking staff while you relax in the spa or enjoy a quiet, romantic dinner for two in one of the eight comfortable restaurant rooms. The restaurant dates back to 1586 and great attention to detail has been given to the antique renaissance ceiling. As in all spa hotels in Austria, healthy cuisine is a given and fresh, carefully selected ingredients form the basis of the creative culinary team at Der Krallerhof.

Evening entertainment is also available at the hotel’s own ‘Kralleralm’ - but at a distance far enough (100m) as not to disturb your sleep but close enough to enjoy a drink or two and still make your way back safely to the hotel.
