the IPL was fine and after 6 sessions i have had a lot of hair loss from the area. i didnt expect it to remove all but its a good start. My problem is with the penny pinching that goes on. I signed up for a deal where i could have 1 large area and 6 small areas. I did not have 6 small areas that needed work so only had the one large area. What annoyed me and the reason why i would never go back is that fact that they said that for my one area i had to pay more because the needed to use 10 more laser clicks that was "allowed". I asked how many clicks they would normally use for a small area and they confirmed approx 3-4. So i could have had another 6 small areas done with IPL which would have been 18 or so clicks yet i was having to pay more because my one area needed a few more clicks. then the whole surcharge when paying with card is bad. All together the treatment was okay, results okay, therapists hit and miss with friendliness, but the money pinching side really put me off. On my last session they became MUCH nicer when offering me a special to continue but i would never go to depicool again. I have since purchased other specials from other companies which have much nicer spas and no such thing as surcharges for the same price if not less than depicool. Its my fault as i had read about other peoples complaints and i still went ahead and even now i read this it doesnt seem like a big deal, but when its happening to you it feels much bigger.

I've just finished my six session course of IPL for an extended bikini line and I'm so pleased with the results. There's no hair left at all. The therapist I always have, Andrea, is really lovely, always goes through the safety checks (have you exposed skin to sun etc) and makes you feel at ease. She doesn't rush you either.

Contrary to people below I've never had issues booking appointments, I just use the contact form online, say what date I'd prefer and someone comes back to me via email a day or so later with a few options. The only issue is it's not easy to get in touch with the salon if you need to cancel. You also get charged £2 if you pay by card so think of getting some cash out.

after having read the reviews i was a tad nervous. I booked online which was a little painful as it resets your appointments if you don't book them all in within a certain amount of time so you have to do it all again but was much easier than calling which a lot of people seemed to have problems with. When i got there the door was locked which worriedme. I tried knocking and ringing but no answer. 10 minutes after my appointment time i'm still waiting outside a locked door. The therapist eventually unlocks the door saying that she was on her own and was doing a treatment but she was friendly and apologetic so wasn't a big deal. Throughout the treatment she was chatty and quite nice so i was pleasantly surprised. I don't think i would pay full price for the treatment but with the voucher its a good deal and overall was a nice experience.

I bought 5 sessions of IPL via Groupon but would not recommend the place even with a Groupon deal.

As someone else wrote, to book an appointment via the call centre you will find yourself on hold for at least half an hour.

The first time I went the therapist told me that Covent Garden was not available via my Groupon, but that was where Depicool had booked me knowing I had a Groupon! Fortunately the therapist agreed to treat me.

On my third visit I arrived to be told there was no record of the appointment I had made at least two months previously. The therapist (*this name has been removed*) spent over 20 mins 'trying to find me in the system'. She also suggested it was Groupon's fault, when the appointments are made by Depicool so any problems had nothing to do with Groupon. Eventually she told me that my next appointment was towards the end of August. I had emailed Depicool to cancel that appointment a couple of weeks previously as it clashed with my holiday, and it looks as though someone cancelled my July appointment instead of my Aug appointment. The therapist was incredibly rude. She could have treated me in the 25 mins she had me waiting whilst she 'tried to find me in the system'. And I had paid for the treatment in advance!

If she wasn't going to be able to help me she should simply have apologised when I first went in, told me she couldn't help, and suggested I reschedule via the call centre/ email. Instead she had me waiting around for the entire length of the appointment. She was incredibly rude, said I must be a very unhappy person because of all the negative energy around me, and told me to leave the shop! I understand that the problem was probably not caused by her, but she represented Depicool and so should have apologised and been civil. She also suggested twice that I call the call centre whilst I was in the shop, but if she thought the call centre could help, why didn't she call them herself?

I have now emailed Depicool to request a replacement appointment, re-request the cancellation of the Aug appointment, and am waiting to see what they will do.

I would never go back to this place, regardless of the price they charge for the treatment.

Awefull service!!
This seems to be a pop up company, that is very badly run!
I drove an hour and a half to get to my appointment for 'Ultrasound weight management' on a saturday.
Tried to call to confirm before I left, but no answer on several occasions.
5 min before I get there I get a call from a withheld number telling me my appointment has been cancelled.
I wen't to the centre to see if they could fit me in at somepoint, and there was one lady there, VERY RUDE!! Told me that its tough basically and I should have answered my phone earlier as they had been trying to call me all day. (I had one missed call earlier that morning again from withheld number again, so I couldn't call back) . Absolutely no appology, and she had know explanation for who called me.
I asked here what number I call to speak to someone to reschedule, but was rudely informed that office was closed on weekends, and I had to call back within weekday opening hours.
The actual centres don't have numbers you can contact them on, its all done through this central helpdesk, which I presume is one person at home.
Tried to re-shcedulel another appointment and there is a £15 charge!! Even taking into account what happened with my first appointment.
Terrible service, althoug this is no fault to the therapist that did actually do my procedure in the end, she was very nice.

I have not has my session with DEPI COOL yet, but simply brought a GROUP ON VOUCHER and had VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE over the phone.

So far I feel it was very much unorganised and they do not admit any errors, this was with reference to just making an appointment, which should be simple?

I will update this review and hope my experience so far does not reflect the treatment itself.
I am being treated for FAT-REDUCTION.

One of the worst customer services I have ever had. Bought a voucher for 6 treatments and was totally disappointed by the customer service they offer. Very rude and unfriendly staff trying to make money even when you want to postpone your appointment. Wouldn´t recommend this company, if you appreciate professional customer service.

Is this a coincidence . Last week I asked if anyone could recommend a place for Botox. I had 4 answers, I then book in here for treatment and it is next door to one of the places I was recommended to.... Smilepod ( so I booked for a few weeks time)

Any way Depicool...Excellent treatment good staff , just the ambiance was a bit sterile.

Am happy with the treatments though . So thanks :)
