Well I decided to take advantage of the 50% voucher they have been sending over in the email newsletter- oh boy what a mistake! The staff were less than curteous and I was not allowed to look in the mirror because I had to hurry to to it being 50% off the total price, got home with half eyebrow gone and about tint- I do not think they even know what it is. I have complained to which a very snotty manager decided to call me a liar despite the fact I had pictures to show I was right...then they offered to refund me £8.00 rather than the £13.00 I had paid, oh and to top it all off I had purchased some vouchers for a work colleague for £55.00 and booked an appointment for his wife- they have actually cancelled the appointment, they failed to notify me of this or refund me the money!
I actually made a complaint to their head office and to trading standards as this behaviour apart from being outrageous is purley appalling......

Some of the ladies weren't as well presented as those i've seen in other Champneys however the massage i received was excellent the therapist had good technique and kept the massage flowing, still expensive but because massage was good would go again.

I had a facial and eyebrow shaping and the experience was superb. The therapist Nicole was fantastic I cannot rate her highly enough. She was helpful and kind and considerate and the treatment she gave was amazing I will certainly recommend her to everyone I know

I went in the opening week when all was half price so extremely good value, but at the normal prices they are about par for the course. I had a whole afternoon of pampering and loved the fact that the same therapist did all of my treatments and talked as much or as little as I requested. Their products are wonderful and the treatments are of the same standard as other Champneys resorts (fantastic). The main problem was the large window in the manicure area where passers by watched you, a little gold fish like, and the fact that I could not spend the day swanning around in a fluffy dressing gown as at their residential resorts! I would certainly go back, although it won't stop me going to the smaller and more intimate local salons.

My experiance at Champenys Brighton Town and city Spa. On arrival there were about 3 staff at reception who completly ignored me, once i had cleared my throat quite loudly they stopped their conversation and glared at me, to then be asked if i needed help! One they had checked me in, I then went into my treatment 15 minutes late! Appalling treatment the therapist was in anouther world and was sloppy! The spa however is extremly elegant with an open plan and glorious chanderliers. It has a very vintage feel. The rooms feel like you have entered anouther world with a calm aroma. Beautiful Spa shame about the staff!

What treatment did you have? I have heard good things about this spa so wondering if it was just this specific treatment that was off...

Hi "Oasis33" - would be great if you could write a review of your body wrap as would love to hear more about how it was - the Champneys Spas on the high street always look so great when I walk past...also "beauty", would love to know what treatments you had!
