I was really impressed with this salon. I love the way they reward customer loyalty and have capitalised on the GoGroopie deals. I've done quite a few of those deals and Caprice was the first salon to recognise the opportunity for repeat custom on several levels. The staff are so nice and friendly aswell. I loved my haircut so much the first time, I've gone back several times. Thank you.

Caprice has no bells and whistles. The surroundings aren't posh. The lighting isn't moody. And they don't hand you a glass of champagne when you arrive. But I could care less about those things. What matters for me if getting an excellent cut and an excellent blow dry. My hair is very thick and can be quite frizzy. I have seen stylists in posh and trendy salons look at my mane with fear or at least annoyance that it will take them longer than expected to cut and style it. But at Caprice, my stylist Arta was easygoing, professional and she gave me an excellent and cut and style. Highly recommended.

Completely disapointed.
One of the worst haircut I've ever had.

I have had my eyelashes done at Caprice a few times. What I enjoy is the fact that they are flexible with taking appointments, and they always take their time to do a good job (even if it means working late). The results are great! I am very happy and will certainly go back again.

I went there 3 times for microdermabrasion which were bought via Groupon. As for treatment and service I really enjoyed it and I will be going back for treatment. She look after my bad skin, it was very dry and she did a great job. She also was trying to advise me and so on, which was nice of her.
All girls were nice to me and i cannot say anything negative about the saloon and my experience at Caprice.

If you’re thinking about getting your lashes done here, then I strongly urge you to seek somewhere else! I have been getting my lashes done for a few years now in various different salons around London, and never have I ever experienced such diabolical customer service.
The lady who did my lashes (the owner) not only took double the length of time that any other lash technician I have ever had has taken, but she also managed to get a drop of the glue remover into my eye, this stung a lot, I didn’t feel this worth complaining about (even though this can be very damaging to you eyes!), as all I cared about was that my lashed looked fabulous and lasted. After 2 hours and 15mins they were finally done, and yes, they did look fabulous and neat, I was initially very pleased despite the length of time spent doing them.
However, within just a few days a lot of the lashes had fallen out, leaving very noticeable gaps, then within one week most were all gone. For me they normally they last at least 6 weeks. I called the salon one week after the appointment to report that something must have gone wrong, however the phone just rang out, I continued to call each day for the next 4 days, no answer each time, also the answering machine was too full to take any messages. I finally got them to answer on the Sunday (a week and a half after the appointment). I was very polite and just explained that perhaps something had gone wrong, and could I come in to have someone take a look and rectify the problem… I spoke with the owner/manager who was extremely rude and said there is no way this was her mistake, and basically called me a liar, then said if I had called sooner after the appointment then maybe they could have done something, to which I explained I had but no-one picked up my call for 4 days, which she just said ‘well that’s impossible’… helpful! She then rambled on to me about how she had a trapped nerve in her back and work was very hard for her at the moment… I’m sorry but this was completely irrelevant to why I was calling, no offence but at this stage I really couldn’t care less about the in’s and outs of her medical problems, a bit unprofessional not to mention a bit odd, no? … Basically she would not let me have a word in edge ways, and the conversation went no-where, as she refused to do anything about it, although did say I can book to come in and have them re-done for full price…. Pah! Nice right?!... At that price, I think I’ll go else where thank-you very much!
If you buy something and it breaks, due to no fault of the buyer, then you either get a re-funded or the product is replaced, that is how it works… obviously Caprice Hair and Beauty are unfamiliar with basic customer service.

I went with a voucher for eyelash extensions the first time last April. Previously a friend had have given me good feedback from the place, tho it was for a hair treatment, but I was a bit scared as my previous experience in a different place was no good. But I was surprised, I simply loved them. They were perfect. So I did repeat a few more times. I was advised of how to take care of them and the lashes lasted for many weeks. Staff are friendly, and has always been easy to adapt the appointments to a convenient time for me.
I would definitely recommend Caprice. Now I'm lookinf forward to my next appointment!

In the cosy little salon, very friendly staff make you feel confortable. I went there with a voucher for wash, cut, conditioning treatment an blow dry. Anna listened to what type of haircut I wanted and made sure I was happy with it. Very punctual with appointments, I didn't have to wait. The service was very good and quick. They also offer a wide range of services such as manicure/pedicure/eyelash extension.Very close to Belsize Park Station, but also easy to reach from Hampsted Heath Overground station either walking (10-15 min) or by bus (in 5-6 min the C11 from stop D takes you right in front of the salon). :)
The only advice I can give for improving it would be to use a bit o hair straightener on top of blow dry brushing when dealing with curly hair, as even the umidity of the air outside make it go back to curly very quickly.
Overall, very good place to recommend.

i bought a voucher for eyelash extensions at caprice. when i got to the salon i explained to the lady, doing my eyelashes, that i had never had semi-permanent eyelashes before therefore i was nervous, but she reassured me and made me feel relaxed! after nearly two hours i had the most amazing and naturally long eyelashes!! they lasted me (without refills) 3 weeks!
i went in for my second set (even though after 3 weeks the gaps were not noticeable but they had a half price offer so thought to take advantage) the same lady did my lashes again but suggested i try the thicker lashes. this time i felt even more relaxed that i fell asleep! the result is even more beautiful lashes and i dont even need to wear eye make! the second time more of the lashes have fallen out in a sort period of time but its not noticeable at all!! i hope these last me awhile, and i do make sure i look after them well which is probably why they have lasted me over 3 weeks!

I had to write a review as I had read the review below just after I had booked my appointment at Caprice (with the same Groupon offer) and spent the next three weeks until my appointment worrying about how it would turn out and thinking about cancelling. I went with it anyway, as I wasn't too invested in the highlights (I was planning to try it for the summer and was planning to dye it over if I wasn't taken with it anyway) and thought the cut couldn't be worse than my last one (more on that later)

I am very glad I did go through with it, because my experience could not have been more different to the below reviewer's. My stylists (there were two, as I have very thick hair and needed two people to apply the foils) listened to exactly what I said with regards to colour and the style of cut I wanted. My highlights came out perfectly and when cutting my hair, my stylist noticed all the faults that my last hairdresser had done which had plagued me since my last cut (I had gone to my regular salon where I'd always been happy but had a new stylist who had made a complete mess).

Overall, I am very pleased with everything. It was exactly what I wanted and my hair looks great. While the salon isn't the most modern or funky, it was friendly and gave me what I needed. It was also very busy while I was there and they had to turn quite a few walk ins away.
