I am quite surprised to read the one before last, I have been using Burlingtons for my hair for the last five years and they have always been very professional and always done an amazing job of my hair, if you can pardon the pun it has always been head and shoulders above any other salon that I have used. I have always had a towel and they have always taken great care with me. They give you time to discuss the sort of cut you want. Suggest different styles, and go through all of your options and best of all do not cut inches more off than you ever ask for which is something that I find at a lot of other salons. I have never seen the toilets dirty either. I think you must have caught them on a very bad day, I am shocked and disappointed that you did not have the amazing time them that I have always had. I have not had a makeover at New ID but as you can imagine I have seen plenty of people in there doing just that. I got about every six weeks for my hair so I am no stranger to people having makeover and I can honestly say I have never seen anybody in there that did not seem to be thoroughly enjoying it. Quite a lot of my friends have had their hair done there on my recommendation and have been as impressed as I always am.

I recieved an excellent haircut at Burlingtons ID.
I was taken care of and offered a drink on numerous occasions.
The cut itself was relatively quick- but perfect! My hairdresser did exactly what I asked!

Very disappointed with my visit for a cut, conditioning and blow dry. The lift was grubby and the waiting room was dirty, piles of hair all over the floor. I was kept waiting for an hour and, though the receptionist was friendly and brought me a coffee, when the stylist, Jodie, came to call me through, she didn’t even apologise for the long wait! Things didn’t get any better when I went through to the salon – the previous customer’s hair and part finished drink were still on the shelf by the mirror. The stylist was the most non-communicative hairdresser I have ever been to. She never smiled or made conversation; it seemed she couldn’t get me out of the door quickly enough. I was left with water dripping from my hair whilst she went off, no towel round me so I had to ask for one. I had a nylon gown but very loosely tied so, when my hair was being cut, it went all inside my jumper. At the end, she made no attempt to brush it away and just left me covered with hairs. I had to ask the receptionist for a brush. I then made the mistake of asking to use the ladies before I left. It was disgusting! The floor was filthy, no hook for a coat and just generally dirty. I couldn’t get out of the place quick enough. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.

The venue is really nice and well located. I was welcomed very nicely.
The treatment was ok. For the price that I paid was all right. The therapist needed all my instructions how to cut my hair so it was a little bit disappointing. But at the end I looked good.

If you are looking for a great gift idea that will not break the bank then get onto the New ID website. I went along and had the most amazing time about a year ago and since then every time it is a birthday or Christmas I just get online go to New ID click on their special offers page and treat another one of my friends or another member of my family to a photoshoot and makeover session and so far I have not had one person come back and tell me they didn’t like it and everybody things that I am the most thoughtful person in the world for supplying these vouchers that basically give you a free pass to feel like a million dollars. I am sure that New ID must love me because even the people I have given vouchers to that don’t have a lot of money or have sworn they will not do anything other than come home with the free photo you get with the deal have been coming home and waiting the few weeks delivery time and then plastering their walls with their amazing shots. I don’t think that there is a better gift than this, what is better than getting people you love to look and feel amazing. This is the best gift idea I have ever come up with and I wanted to share that with you. I totally loved New ID it was such a great time I had there when I had my makeover, I just wish so much that the pictures were more affordable because I really wanted to buy more than I did but at fifty pounds for the smallest one and five times more than that for the big one you would need a mortgage to get all of the ones that you wanted. You have to see though that even though that is a gripe it does tell you how good the pictures are because if they were not good then I would not be bothered about the fact that I could not buy every last single one of them, I am going to save up so hard for the next year or so, I want to go back and do it all again and then walk out with handfuls of amazing pictures. I hand on heart have never ever looked anywhere near as good on a picture before and it was quite a jaw dropping moment when I saw how amazing I looked, I had no idea that the pictures were going to be that great and I could not stop staring at them. The boost to my confidence has been incredible and I know I will be going back to New ID time and time again.

I had a very nice and enjoyable time, the stylist talked to me before my cut and blow dry , i had a hot drink and then discussed my treatment, it was very friendly and all the staff were nice and it had comfortable surroundings most enjoyable and i would return again.

Totally big thumbs up to New ID from me. I had a wonderful makeover with them and loved every last second of it and every last bit of it too, ok well the bit where I maxed out my credit card on the totally amazing photos might not have been the best decision I ever made in my life but despite my resolve to only buy one and get the free one I now have nine coming and one big bill to pay off but I had no idea how totally awesome the pictures were going to be and I just had to have more than two I am afraid. I am going to go back to New ID to get a makeup lesson, I was that impressed with how they did the makeup and while I was there, another lady was having a makeup lesson and she said it was fantastic and she learnt a lot from it. I am getting married later on in the year so I am going to take my brides maids along and then who knows, maybe we can do our own makeup for the wedding and not have to pay somebody else to do it for us, or if we still can’t do it then it is going to be New ID 100% who do it for us. If you are, like I was, a bit scared of makeover because of the photo shoot then don’t be, you are going to love it, they make it really easy for you and you really do not need any kind of modeling experience to look every bit as good as a professional model, I can vouch for that. New ID is totally brilliant and I cant wait to pay off my credit card so I can go back and do it all over again.

Staff were friendly and helpfull, bucks fizz was a nice touch. Brazillian blowdry had made a noticable difference but I wouldn't pay £200 for it with the wahanda voucher for £69 it was worth it.
