Clive Colman started Buringtons over 25 years ago with the vision of providing the perfect hairdressing experience to every client. Burlingtons fast became one of the most fashionable salons in the UK, famous for precision haircuts.
Kelly began her career as a professional dancer and model, soon establishing her own successful Model and Dance agency called Kelly’s Kind. In 2001, the couple combined their specialties and created what was going to become the UK’s leading makeover and photographic provider, New ID Studios.
Today, New ID & Burlingtons represents a group of beauty brands with collectively over 40 years of experience in making clients look the best they’ve ever looked.

I had a fantastic New ID experience. I have had a makeover in the past, but not with this company and New ID were way better than the other place that I went to that was more like a circus than a professional makeup and photoshoot outfit. I loved the way that they really care about how you feel and how you look and although clearly it is a business that needs to make money you don’t get that impression while you are there. The other place that I went to, well it was fairly obvious that all they wanted to do was get as much cash out of you as possible. They didn’t seem to have that much of an interest in how you actually wanted to look, rather it was just doing what was easiest for them and what would look good in the pictures that they ram down your throat and not, in terms of the hair style, would be manageable for you once you are out of the studio. I have to hand it to New ID they gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had and it has been looking just as good when I style it as it looked when they did so as far as I was concerned that was a great result. New ID do really great makeup as well, and not only do they put it on you they show you exactly what they are putting where and why and give you a chart so you can do it yourself at home so that for me was great as I felt that I really learnt something as well as just having a glam day out and some great pictures of myself this for me was the start of a life long new look not just one day at it. Congratulations New ID for doing great makeover s and passing on skills people can take away.
