I absolutely love Brooklands and the Spa at Brooklands Hotel. You can get some exceptional deals on Wahanda for Brooklands, so do look out for them! The outdoor hot tub overlooks Mercedes World so if you're into your cars you can watch them go by on the track with a nice glass of champers in hand!

Went along to Brooklands Spa with an open mind given some of the reports heard prior. The Spa is situated on the 4th floor of a beautiful modern hotel set in the middle of a semi industrial/retail park setting overlooking a Mercedes race track. The spa comprised of several treatment rooms, a meditation room containing heated water beds, a relaxation area, gym, refreshment area, outside hot tub and wet and dry sauna located inside changing rooms. Whilst none of the areas were overly large the place was adequate for the numbers visiting.
What I liked best: The staff (whilst not looking very happy) were helpful and well trained. The meditation room (whilst it needed to be booked) was lovely and I enjoyed it twice during my day visit. The spa had a nice feel too it and my message was very good.
The negatives were low temperatures in the relaxation area, the hot tub and and changing rooms far too small. They could also do with another 'feature' to engage visitors . All in all I had a pleasant day and glad I was able to go using a special offer otherwise this review would certainly have a different tone.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely spot on. Very helpful, especially the american waiter in the restaurant. The hotel was very modern which really appealled to our taste and the bedroom was a very good standard although a nicer quality carpet would have given it a better finish. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast was excellent also. My only issue which really did affect my stay was the fact that there was no swimming pool which I either overlooked or it didnt state in the hotel description. There were also no joint sauna or steam facilities for couples to share. another fact I either overlooked in the facility description or it wasn't stated, i'm not sure but I do feel these points should be highlighted. The hot tub was also only suitable for up to 4 people so we were informed when having a tour of the facilities that we should only use the tub for a maximum time of ten minutes so all guests could have a fair opportunity to use it. I suppose could understand this but there was no clock to guage the time you were in the tub for so we always felt on edge incase we were in there for too long. Also the hot tub only ran for a couple of minutes before you would have to restart it which really stopped us from being able to lay back and chill out. All in all not a very relaxing spa area. I did have a very good body brush and deep massage which I loved but my wife wasn't as impressed with her therapist so I have to split the difference with my therapy ratings which is a shame. Lastly I did venture into the gym but was VERY unimpressed by the lack of equipment available. After all said and done I feel the staff, room and restaurant were top notch but the spa facilities were below par for what is described as a spa hotel. This review is only my opinion and i feel that for a group of girls or boys going away for a break the spa experience would be better as they would be able to enjoy each others company in the sauna and steam facilities. Staff were excellent though.

My husband & his pals brought a weekend package for us wife's.A night stay plus two free treatments from a pedicure, manicure, back massage, full body exfoliation..A three course meal plus breakfast A lovely christmas present we thought....The treatments were not good as it was a special offer package,( why bother attitude..)
My therapist did'nt stop talking though out the message (apparently she suffers from depression..so did I after that session)
The exfoliation treatment was like being brushed with a horse brush for 15 mins.
My daughter had her two treatments, then had a pedicure. There was no prices on show for any of the treatments which I was not happy with, but she went with it any way...For a dry Pedicure cost her £50.. Half the colours she picked could not be used because they were to thick. Then had to go back in the moning for them to be repainted as after three hours of drying time they still smudged...We ordered lunch after 3/4 of a hour of waiting we were informed there was no one in the kitchen to do our order!!!! They did give us fresh creams scones on the house, not the same, but they were lovely.
Rooms were good so was the food. But treatments a BIG NO NO !!! if on a package deal.

The hotel here is perhaps a bit better than the spa itself. The food was surprisingly good and also had nice generous portions. The main issue with the spa was that the sauna and steam rooms were in single sex and attached to each of the chaning rooms. Whilst this must be really handy for single sex groups and individuals having treatments, it was a bit of a pain as I'd gone with my partner and we had to go in these on our own. The only thing we could share was the hot tub, but this was far too small for the number of people booked in, especially as lots of people ignored the 10 minute limit. This meant we spent quite a long time lying on the beds waiting to use the tub! We didn't have any treatments but the treatment roomds did look lovely so I think this is probably better for that than as just a relaxing wet spa. Everything was nice and clean though and the staff in the spa were friendly and helpful.

We have a great experience at brookland hotel. The spa was very nice and plenty of facilities such us saunas, relaxation room and outside jacuzzi. The hotel is stunning, the decor is modern and it is very clean. Our room and bathroom were very big anD nice. We had afternoon tea, included in the offer, which was very nice. We also had dinner at the hotel. Food was good but over price. The location is not great, next to the mercedes car track.
I will definitely recommend this hotel!!

We absolutely love the Brooklands Hotel. The rooms are well-furnished and a good size; the food is healthy yet quite delicious; and the spa is stunning. After watching the cars whizz round the track in Mercedes World in the outdoor hot tub and the best thai combination massage I have ever had we took a leisurely snooze in the relaxation room. We'll be looking forward to the next Wahanda deal so we can go again!

I spent the weekend at this Hotel and Spa with a friend. Although we did not book any treatments we had full use of the gym and spa facilities. We took our ow spa products and after an hour's workout in the gym we had a further hour pamper time using the sauna and steam room followed by 30 mintues relaxation in the mediation room...absolute bliss. The hotel is very modern and chic in appearance. The staff were pleasant and professional. We did not have our evening meal in the hotel restaurant instead we ate at the Thai Garden just over 3 miles from the hotel. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The late 4pm check out meant there was no rush on waking to have breakfast and check out. We could use the gym and spa again before leaving. The only downside to our stay was afternoon tea, included in the voucher price. This was not presented as advertised i.e. a variety of cakes. We had one choice of cake and strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, scones with cream and jam. We noticed a couple were served with several variety of cakes. We chose not to make a fuss and let one employee of the hotel bar spoil what was otherwise an enjoyable break.

It is not that the place is bad, it just did not tick the box of a "spa weekend out of town" in my world... The hotel is new, and facilities are quite nice, but there is nothing around it, so what's the point of staying there overnight? Although the value of the stay was good, treatments are quite pricy! I booked a relaxation massage - which was brilliant, and a pedicure - which didn't dry. At all! Well, at least not in the 5 hours after which i put socks on and smashed the polish on my big toes.... Would probably not recommend to friends.
