Overall it was good value for money......however both myself and my friend were quite disappointed with the overall spa experience. On a positive note the therapists were very good a their job in giving extremely good treatments however there was no introductions or discussion re treatments, health issues etc. We were asked to fill in a health questionnaire and gave the cards in together. Neither therapists asked our names therefore did not know who's card was who's, made us wonder if the cards were even read - probably not. The other issue was that the treatments were advertised as half hour each - each one lasted just about 20 mins. Poor show overall. Felt a bit 'conveyor belt' like and rather impersonal. Would not recommend this spa break - sorry!

The hotel was very nice, but the pool was too small. Treatments were relaxing but overall a very good deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating as I also had my dog with me. Location was a bit further from town than expected, but was fine with a car.

I would recommend the treatments and the whole experience to my friends and familly, my daughter and I had a very relaxing spa break, the staff could not be more friendly and helpful, the only fault I had was the menue was too way out and I did not enjoy the food,my daughter had a meal from the bar which was much nicer.

Excellent hotel with some of the best staff I have met. They couldn't do enough to help. Our food was superb, the room spacious, comfortable and modern. The pool facilities were small but that didn't stop us having a great swim. Sauna and steam room fab. Therapies excellent and spa rooms beautifully decorated.

The hotel itself was very lovely and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious.Our room was very clean and perfect for the two of us.

Unfortunately, what let the hotel down was the health club. Although the lady doing my treatments was very nice and chatty, the result was disappointing. On the advertisement for this deal the picture was actually of a different swimming pool in a different Barcelo hotel, this was very misleading. The swimming pool at the Oxford hotel was tiny and described by staff as a splash pool. Needless to say I wouldn't consider this a spa break! We also decided to have breakfast in our room which was cold and generally not very nice.

We had a lovely time and the staff were very helpful and friendly but unfortunately the health club/spa was dated and disappointing. I wouldn't return to this hotel for a spa break but if you were visiting Oxford and needed a place to stay then this would be a good choice. Oxford is easily accessible and we found our way around with ease.

All together we had a lovely time but it was disappointing in some areas.

The treatments were great especially the facial. The hotel room was fabulous, clean, had everything you needed and a huge bed!! However the pool was small and you couldn't use the gym which was a shame.
