Most of the staff appeared to be friendly and helpful. The Treatments were amazing.
However, i wasn't impressed when a female cleaner came into the men's dressing room and began to mop out the floor whilst I was in the shower. There was no attempt by her to leave the changing room when I came out to get dressed.
The room and food were good value for money.
Had a great spa weekend at Billesley Manor. Lovely hotel, with friendly helpful staff. Rooms and food were also very good. Would recommend.
Small downside was that our room wasnt in the main hotel, it was it the barn a few yards away, which meant getting wet in the rain!
I went here with my friend and we have a lovely break to be fair. The treatments were a little dissappointing as they were due to last 30 minutes each however I was out of the treatment rooms after 50 minutes and felt somewhat short changed when I saw the clock on the wall. The pool is nothing special and full of children - more like a leisure centre than a luxurious spa. The sauna was not working when we went. All the loungers by the pool were taken up by towels with no owners in sight so we could not sit poolside. The food is delicious though as we stayed for evening meal and breakfast. The room itself got very hot and we had to sleep with the windows open all night which meant we were woken up early by the surrounding animals and wildlife. It is a lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere however the spa treatments were not great. Don't feel it was worth the £99 each.
Billesley Manor Hotel is very warm, friendly and clean. I had a wonderful relaxing stay there as a birthday treat and had beauty treatments. All rooms were clean and relaxing with low lighting and calming music.. Staff were professional and very friendly. I find it hard to relax but this was not a problem for me whist having my treatments. Hettie was my therapist. She was very friendly which made me relax. I told Hettie I did not like lying flat whilst having a facial so she took her time and adjusted the bed to a suitable position for me. While waiting for the treatments I had a cappuccino and could see how helpful all staff were. The pool looked very clean but I did not use it. My husband did and he said it was great. We would recommend this hotel and spa to anyone who wants to wind down, treat themselves to spa treatments and forget everything. I hope to return there soon.
