I was bought a pamper gift voucher for my birthday, which was a brave move because I too am a massage therapist and very hard to please – I've certainly never. I used my voucher this week to cheer me up after a miserable few days in the rain. I chose to have a massage and the signature facial, the 'holistic facial' I think they called it. I'm usually dubious about receiving massage treamtents at Spa's, but this place blew me away. Both of the therapists had great sensitivity of touch and at no point during the massage did I feel like I was at the end of a massage by numbers treatment, she paid attention to particular comments I had made during the consultation and gave good feedback afterwards. The facial was just about the most relaxing and calming experience I've ever had. When I choose to have a massage I go where I know a treatment will be great and don't pay much attention to the space I'm in, as long as it's welcoming and clean. Of course Angel Therapy Rooms is beautiful, but there's something more to it that I can't quite put my finger on.
