I am furious after calling in to make my monthly appt, (usually approx £60) to be told i could not use my xmas voucher as i didnt have it with me and they cannot be used at the same time, I have already been in once and had a colour and cut explained I had the wrong handbag with me due to travelling to Africa and Australia over Jan/Feb, I am also due a free haircut due to filling up my customer loyalty card.
well thats one lost customer and there are plenty of salons in the area at a much cheaper rate and I have already made my appointment thankyou.
the other issue with this place is the lack of WIFI, the 3G coverage disappears as soon as you enter but even though they have WIFI availability it is not offered to the clients.
Shame because gemma was a lovely stylist and a good hairdresser........generally this place is too expensive and clearly greedy!

To be fair, would u expect to get money of a handbag in debenhams if you didn't have the voucher with you, it's a way of business. Personally I think that the price is fair, you get what you pay for plus more, with the always cheerfull and helpfull staff.

I had the voucher in my hand, you would not honour it at the same time and despite being a regular customer (note the past tense) made sure any offers i had all coincided at the same time so it was impossible to honour them, pretty sly in any business no matter how friendly, and friendly and cheerful is hardly unusual in a salon and certainly not a licence to print money nor deceive them.
if you rely on your reputation to charge 30% over average prices then I suggest you hang on to existing clients in these tough times, give a good service and word gets around, give a bad one and it spreads like wildfire....and i for one have already diverted at least 2 new clients to another salon in the area.

on my recent visit i enjoyed the pampering experience you can only get at andrew price no other haridressers offer very friendly and experienced staff, who not only make sure you are comfortable with the proposed activity, whereby each stage is fully exlained and makes you feel at ease., the staff also go out of their way to make you beverages and the whole experience is unique and special.
the seats could be a bit more comfy and perhaps a few pictures of clients hair designs on the wall, or in a book for reference it would be fab to have my nails done whilst waiting for my colour to develop..
I always find it a pleasure having my hair cut and I usually bring my daughter or husband with me for company, and they are treated with respectful professionalism.
