Spa Treatments

Welcome to the Wahanda spa treatment manual. Whether you are visiting a health farm, medical spa, hotel spa or day spa – you will find they all offer a service in the form of spa treatments. Although most spas will offer similar or the same spa treatments, they will often attempt to differentiate the spa treatment, perhaps through the technique or products they use. We will be taking a look at some of the most popular spa treatments and how to choose the best one whether it's for you, your partner or both. What's more, if you're looking to treat a loved one to a luxury spa treatment, the Wahanda Spa and Wellness Gift Voucher is the perfect flexible gift - accepted at hundreds of day spas, salons, gyms, yoga studios and fitness centres nationwide.

Treatments can be put into two different categories; relaxation treatments and active treatments. People tend to opt for relaxation treatments when they wish to focus on rejuvenating and refreshing their mind and body as well as beautifying themselves with a touch of glow. These treatments include massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Active treatments are used to target a specific problem at the same time used to beautify for example chemical skin peels are used to target skin problems. Whereas slimming and firming treatments are used to prevent and reduce sags and bags from forming.

Choosing a spa treatment

Choosing a spa treatment can often be quite difficult - spoilt for choice as most spa menus offer a variety of treatments. The first thing to ask yourself is whether you are indulging in a spa treatment for a particular purpose or whether you are purely looking for some relaxation pampering. If you are going to a spa for a particular problem, for example a back ache then you can always consult the therapists at your chosen spa to recommend a treatment that will help your problem.

A spa treatment does not necessarily mean massages, facials and manicures. Most spas now come with a fitness centres offering classes and therapies. So, if you consult a therapist about a back problem they may even refer you to a yoga class rather than a massage, it all depends on what the problem is. In most cases there is a treatment or therapy out there designed for you and your needs.
