Voucher terms and conditions

Two types of vouchers may be purchased on the Wahanda Website:

(1) Vouchers sold by Wahanda which may be exchanged for products and services of our partners ("Wahanda Vouchers"); and
(2) Vouchers sold by Wahanda as agents on behalf of our partners which may only be exchanged in return for products and services offered by the partner whose voucher it is ("Partner Vouchers").

The two types of voucher are dealt with in different ways. For Wahanda Vouchers, we act as principal. That means that the contract for the Wahanda Voucher is between you and us. For Partner Vouchers, we act as a disclosed agent acting on behalf of our third party supplier partners (i.e. the spas or retreats who provide the vouchers ("Partners" for short). This means that the contract for each Partner Voucher is between you and the relevant Partner named on the Partner Voucher. Please note:

  • Each of our Partners have their own terms and conditions governing the contract for the sale of their Partner Vouchers. Please ensure that you have read and understood those terms and conditions before purchasing a Partner Voucher.
  • A list of our current Partners offering Partner Vouchers is available upon request.
  • You can find details of the terms and conditions which apply to the products and services offered by our Partners or where to access them (eg, by means of a link to their terms) on the Voucher Details page on each Partner’s listing on the Website.
  • Wahanda Vouchers may only be exchanged at those of our Partners who are signed up to the Wahanda Voucher scheme at the date you exchange your Wahanda Voucher ("Wahanda Voucher Partners").
  • A list of our current Wahanda Voucher Partners is available here. Please note that the list of Wahanda Voucher Partners may vary from time to time. If you wish to ensure that you or the person that has received the Wahanda Voucher can use it at your preferred Partner’s spa or health retreat listed on the website at the time of purchase, it should be exchanged as soon as possible after purchase.
  • All Wahanda Vouchers are only valid for a specific listed period of time commencing from date of purchase and expiring 6 months later on the expiry date specified on the voucher (the "Redemption Period" for short).
  • Failure to exchange or redeem any Wahanda Voucher before the expiry of the Redemption Period will invalidate the Wahanda Voucher. The Wahanda Voucher will be invalidated if it has been damaged, tampered with, if the holographic strip is missing or damaged, or if the Wahanda Voucher has been altered in any way .
  • All Partner Vouchers will have their own expiry date or redemption period and invalidation conditions. Please check Partner terms and conditions for details.

Placing your order

All orders are subject to acceptance by us. Before you place an order you will be given the opportunity to check you have entered the correct details where prompted, and correct any input errors. Please check your order carefully to make sure you enter the correct details.

After you place an order on the Website, we will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an order acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement email will constitute our acceptance of your order.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to keep copies of all contracts for orders placed for vouchers by you, but cannot guarantee that we will keep a copy of every agreement for an unlimited time due to the number of orders for vouchers that we receive. You should therefore print out a copy of these Terms and Conditions and the shipping confirmation email in relation to all purchases and keep them in a safe place as a record of each transaction.

Contracts with Hotspring Ventures Limited are concluded in English.

Payment

The prices for any vouchers ordered will be as quoted on our Website from time to time, except in the case of obvious errors. All prices are inclusive of VAT and full payment terms will be specified at the time of the purchase.

You may pay for your voucher by credit or debit card. Credit card and debit payments can be made on-line (via our SSL secure payment system), using one of the following credit cards: VISA, or Mastercard. Your credit or debit card must have a billing address in the United Kingdom to enable you to make a purchase. We will charge your credit card or debit your bank account when we acknowledge your order. All credit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.

Loss/Damage

The vouchers are not exchangeable for any form of cash or credit alternative, and may not be accepted if they have been damaged, tampered with or altered in any way. We will not be liable to any person if a voucher is lost, stolen or damaged in any way.

Delivery

Wahanda vouchers

The Wahanda gift voucher is sent via guaranteed next day delivery, and must be signed for upon receipt. Please refer to the Wahanda gift voucher page which will state what time orders must be placed by to guarantee delivery for the next day. Excludes weekends and Bank Holidays.

Partner Vouchers

Partner vouchers will be dispatched by the relevant partner. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery from the date when payment for the vouchers is received by us. Delivery costs will be fully detailed and disclosed during the purchasing process. Please note that during peak seasonal periods, weekends and Bank Holidays, delivery may be subject to delay.

All vouchers are subject to availability. Where any voucher turns out to be temporarily unavailable, we may offer a replacement voucher to you. You have the right to accept or refuse this replacement voucher. If you choose to refuse it you will be able, at your option, to either order another voucher from our website or cancel your order and claim a refund.

If the vouchers have not been delivered within 7 working days from the date when payment for the voucher is received by us please Contact Us at vouchers@wahanda.com in writing, and we will attempt to trace the voucher.

In addition to the above, there are some specific terms which will apply depending on whether you are purchasing a Wahanda Voucher or a Partner Voucher:

Wahanda Vouchers

We will offer you a 10 day no questions returns policy for Wahanda Vouchers. We will arrange for a full refund of the price you have paid if you contact vouchers@wahanda.com explaining that you wish to cancel the contract, within 10 days of your receipt of the Voucher. Please make sure that you inform us of the order number, voucher number, reason for refund, and return the voucher to Wahanda, 4th Floor South, 14-18 Great Titchfield Street, W1W 8BD. We will refund the amount paid, to the card/account used for the initial payment, 30 days after notification of cancellation and return of the original voucher.

The Wahanda Voucher may be used in full or part payment against the cost of any treatment(s) at participating Partner spas. The Wahanda Voucher is intended for use only in exchange for treatments or services provided by our Partners. It is at the sole discretion of participating Partners whether a Wahanda Voucher may be used in full or part payment against the cost of any products or items for sale by the Partner. A full list of participating Partners may be found on our website. Please check with your chosen venue when booking that they will accept this voucher.

Wahanda vouchers can be purchased in the following denominations:
£25, £50, £100, £150, £200.

Please note that the terms and conditions of the individual Partner will apply to your treatment experience once you have booked your treatment. Please check with that Partner for their cancellation policy. If you do not spend the entire value of the Wahanda Voucher, the Partner may, at their sole discretion, give you credit for the remaining amount to spend at a future appointment.

The treatment is provided by the Partner spa not by Wahanda. We rely on ratings from our customers, and are not responsible for the service you receive when you have chosen your treatment. If you have any complaints, please discuss these with the individual Partner spa who will be happy to assist you. If you have purchased a Wahanda Voucher as a gift for someone else, please note that only the person paying for the voucher may claim a refund.

The voucher is valid from the date of purchase and will expire 6 months later or, if specified, on the expiry date specified on the voucher (the "Redemption Period"). Partner spas will not accept the voucher past the expiry date. If you are unable to use your voucher within the Redemption Period, please contact us at vouchers@wahanda.com with your voucher ID within 30 days after the expiry date and we will be happy to issue you with a new voucher for a fee of £25.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Partner Vouchers

Remember that when you purchase a Partner Voucher, we are acting as a disclosed agent for the third party supplier. The contract governing the purchase of the Partner Voucher will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Partner. Ultimately any decisions on complaints, cancellations, returns or related issues will be the responsibility of the Partner. Please check with the Partner for their terms and conditions.

Wherever possible, Wahanda have agreed with the Partners that we will offer you a 10 day no questions returns policy for Partner Vouchers. However, please refer back to the individual product details for specific terms and conditions. We will arrange for a full refund of the price you have paid if you contact our Customer Services team at vouchers@wahanda.com explaining that you wish to cancel the contract, within 10 days of placing your order. Please make sure that you inform us of the order number, voucher number and reason for refund. We will refund the amount paid, to the card/account used for the initial payment, 30 days after notification of cancellation.

If you have purchased a Partner Voucher as a gift for someone else, please note that only the person paying for the voucher may claim a refund.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
