Definitely the worst hair dressing appointment I've ever encountered. My hairdresser, although attentive, was asking the most private and inappropriate things in order to make small talk. The Juniors and other staff members were talking loudly about what they got up to the night before. The toilet lock was broken, there was just a sigh saying 'please knock before entering', the cold tap in the toilet didn't work which left just the hot tap which was too hot to use, so couldn't wash my hands. The bathroom was also in a sorry state with toilet roll on the floor and just unclean generally. The girl washing my hair was rude and bossy, no people skills what so ever. I really don't know what's happened to Toni and Guy, this salon used to be absolutely brilliant (going back 4-5 years) new ownership maybe(?)
The only professional member of staff was the Receptionist, who kept to herself and busied herself instead of bantering with colleagues. When you're paying such high prices for hair dressing services (particularly in a recession) the service and staff should be of a high standard, my appointment was appalling. I'd expect the kind of service I received in somewhere like Supercuts. I'm genuinely appalled, I'll never step foot in there again and will be telling family and friends of my experience.
