Postural misalignment happens when one muscle group is overused in daily life, which often leads to a rapid wear and tear of joints, especially the hip joint and vertebrae in the spine.
The dance and Pilates elements of Steve Jordans Pilates classes focus on training the opposite muscle of the overused muscle group, so that balance and correct posture is achieved at all times.
In addition we use weights and unique gravity reformer machines in most exercises, similar to personal training, combining cardio workout with strength training, and effectively promoting postural realignment all in one.
Our dynamic pilates studio has the key combination of: a personal record and focus for each client in every class. never more than 6 people per class.
Required introductory classes to understand you and to teach you the essentials from the first class.
This allows us to challenge your aerobic fitness more than you thought possible, whilst enhancing your understanding safely.
This process is our trademark and ensures progress, for every client.

A year ago I was a complete beginner to pilates, but thought I would try it for a little while until I got over a runing injury. Now I'm addicted! The classes are fun but challenging and I have seen improvements in my posture and fitness. The attention to detail and motivation by the instructors is excellent and I progrssed from beginner to intermediate level. I have tried a couple of other Pilates classes but this is by far and away the best, and the location 2 minutes from London Bridge Station is handy too.
