I've had my hair cut here by Hayley, and was very happy with her. But then I decided to go there for highlights and had a talk with Georgina. I didn't even let her touch my hair - just got out of there ASAP, having told her she was just wasting my time. Highlights mean lightening (geddit, Georgina?) NOT DARK BROWN OR MAHOGANY STREAKS. After we'd got past that, I pointed out the shade I have at present and said that I wanted my highlights to be much lighter - perhaps platinum blonde? She gawped at that and said "Do you mean bleached?" (yes, platinum blonde is usually bleached.) I don't know if she was a (very) junior assistant or just thick, but as Rush charge £100 plus for the treatment plus blow-dry, I'd expect someone who understands what a client wants.
Sorry, Hayley, but you have lost a good client here.
