Playgate Ltd. started operating as Market Sports in the Old Spitalfields Fruit Market in 1991 and is now in Batemans Row, Shoreditch. In July 2005 Playgate Ltd. purchased Slim Jim’s in Broadgate, the longest established and perhaps the most unique health and fitness club in The City.
At the end of March 2006 Playgate Ltd. bought what was Champneys Citypoint and which we have now called The CityPoint Club.
By keeping their own distinct names and individual designs we are creating a small unique group of health and fitness clubs that are both special and individual.
By keeping the group small our aim is to give each of the clubs and you as members the TLC that it and you deserve helping and encouraging you to keep fit and feel healthier in a warm and friendly quality environment.
I went to have a pedicure at the nail bar at CityPoint Club. I didn´t book it, but I also asked them to paint my nails and they didn´t put any problem, despite of being Friday at 7pm!
The treatment itself was relaxing, my therapist gave me a nice foot massage, but maybe not as effective as other pedicures I have had (I mainly wanted to get rid of hard skin). There was another therapist with her client next to us and the four of us ended up having a chat, which was nice.
The venue was not amazing (It is a corner in the club´s reception, so no privacy!) but It was clean and well maintained
I was also told about other treatments they do, and I might try a full body massage, If I find any discounted rate!!
