From: Natasha's Stash,
It’s game, set and match at Wimbledon this week. The rackets have started swinging over at Centre Court as thousands hoard at the southwest London tennis court to watch the game, sip Pimm’s and devour strawberries and cream.
If all the excitement has got you in the mood for a volley or two, we’ve picked out our favourite spa hotspots for a game of tennis, where you can indulge in a facial or massage (we don’t want tennis elbow) and soak up the sunshine.
The Grayshott Spa is offering an overnight stay including one 25 minute Indian head and scalp massage, Himalayan mineral salt scrub, aromatherapy face massage or hand and foot nail paint. The Grayshott Spa offer full use of their facilities including use of their indoor and outdoor tennis courts, hydrotherapy pool, relaxation room and steam, and exercise classes for £155. This is one offer to definitely take a shot at.
The Eastern inspired Spa by Kasia located in the beautiful Cheshire countryside is offering an Asian tea ritual, two-course lunch and 55 minute treatment. The Buddha adorned spa boasts a magnificent tennis court, waterfall lounge, Penchan snooze room and thermal relaxation room. This spa day is perfect for a quick getaway and only costs £89.
Nuzzled in Shakespeare’s country is the Wildmoor Spa and Health Club who are offering a delicious two-course lunch, a dip in their pool or rest in their crystal steam room. The Wildmoor is equipped with a state of the art fitness arena and tennis court; so you can keep your mind in check with a sonnet while practising that all-important lob. All for £65, and you get to use their calidarium (Roman hot bath complex to you and us). Love!
Beside the seaside sits the Spa at Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club who boast a two-court tennis area and indoor heated swimming pool to relax the muscles after a difficult game on the court. If relaxation and all that fluffy stuff isn’t something you or your pal fancy then flex your sporting muscles with a 18-hole par, 3 golf course, driving range and indoor golf nets so you can perfect your professional putt for £42.
This 3 night, 5 star mini spa break entitles you to two 25-minute treatments, breakfast each morning and a two-course evening meal every night. Don your slippers and robes for the full four days at Moddershall Oaks while you intermittently indulge in any one of their spa facilities, which include swimming, steam and hydrotherapy pool. They’ve even installed heated marble loungers, reflexology footbaths and a technogym wellness system. Their tennis court is located woodside so nobody need witness any practice shots…
